Do genetically engineered crops really increase herbicide use? | Control Freaks
weedcontrolfreaks.com/2012/10/do-genetically-engineered-crops-really-i..
based on actual NASS data, herbicide use between 1995 and 2006 showed no statistical trend either upward or downward for soybean herbicide use (the slope of the non-significant trend line is slightly positive). But for some reason, Dr. Benbrook forecasts an unprecedented increase in total herbicide use in soybean.
